Abstract

The secretary is required to be not only skilled and broad-minded, but more than that she must be able to master technology. The purpose of this study was to determine the digital technology used by secretaries in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in the company. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with structured observation and interview methods. The number of informants is 5 (five) secretaries from different companies or organizations, conducted in 2021. The results of the study reveal that as secretaries, they are asked to be literate and adapt to technology with several applications or software used to accelerate performance. The applications or software used by these secretaries are Canva, some Google applications, Outlook, e-small PDF and systems built by companies such as Talenta
