Analisis Wacana Kritis Film Dokumenter “Sexy Killers” Karya Sutradara Dandhy Dwi Laksono

Abstract

This study uses a critical paradigm with a case study method. The data collection technique was carried out through in-depth interviews with the director Dadhy Dwi Laksono. The results showed that language speaker used negative metaphorical word choices. At the level of relations, the government as the dominant power that controls the media holds the power to control society by manipulating the discourse that PLTU development is for the benefit of all. The elements of discourse production practice indicate that the director of Sexy Killers Film has a principle that instead of using money for master or doctoral studies, it is better to use money to understand and learn from Indonesian “people” and the results can be shared with others.
