Open Access Policy

The Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi dan Bisnis is a scientific journal in the field of communication and related sciences, published by UTarki, the Bachelor's Program in Communication Studies in Jakarta. This journal presents authentic, analytical, and critical contributions in the field of communication to academics who have an interest in communication studies. It is published twice a year, in October and April, and contains writings based on research findings, conceptual or literature studies, and new book reviews.

This journal applies an Open Access policy, providing immediate and unrestricted access to all published content. This policy is based on the principle that free availability of research outputs supports the rapid dissemination of knowledge and promotes global scholarly exchange.

All articles published in this journal are freely accessible without any charges to users or institutions. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles published in this journal without prior permission from the publisher or the authors.

This Open Access policy complies with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), which defines open access as the free availability of scholarly literature on the public internet, permitting users to use such literature without financial, legal, or technical barriers, apart from those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. Copyright of the articles remains with the authors to ensure the integrity of their work and proper acknowledgment through citation.
