The growth of startups in the creative industry sector in Indonesia has experienced significant development over the past decade. The government has implemented various strategic policies to encourage a competitive, innovative, and sustainable startup ecosystem. This study aims to identify and analyze various government policies that support the development of startups in the creative industry through a desk study approach. The study results indicate that programs such as the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf), the formation of the Creative Economy Law, the provision of tax incentives, and the development of digital infrastructure are important pillars in supporting the startup ecosystem. However, challenges remain in terms of equitable access, intersectoral collaboration, and policy sustainability. This research provides theoretical and practical insights for the government, industry players, and academics in developing strategies that are more adaptive to the dynamics of the creative industry in the digital era.
