Sekretaris Indonesia: sebuah potret sekretaris saat ini

Abstract

This research is about descriptive analysis of secretarial duties. The secretaries are the main objects of this research who are mainly working in Jakarta and other cities as well. The objective of this research is to obtain a general description of secretarial duties in Jakarta and other cities in Indonesia in facing the industrial 4.0 revolution. The researcher used the descriptive approach. Method used to obtain the objective is a survey and data were collected via distributing questionnaire to secretaries by using social medium (WhatsApp). The respondents are those who dominantly work in Jakarta and some cities in Indonesia. The finding of this research is that secretarial duties are changing; not the change on the kinds of tasks themselves but on the way how they do the tasks. The advance of telecommunication and information technology help them do the secretarial duties.
