Literasi Media Anti Hoaks Covid-19 dan Vaksinasi Melalui WhatsApp bagi Warga Rukun Tetangga

The coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic has changed the face of the world and caused a multidimensional crisis. Its impact extends throughout the world, including Indonesia. The Covid-19 vaccination policy program still raises pros and cons in the community. Along with that, hoax information about the spread of Covid-19 and its vaccination program appeared on various media platforms, including on social media, such as the WhatsApp application. Hoax information that spreads uncontrollably affects public attitudes and views on the outbreak, including groups with good educational backgrounds and social status. Without checking, participate in spreading hoaxes through the WhatsApp application in the neighborhood. The purpose of this service activity is to help residents of RT 22 Kemalaraja Village in building a critical, wise and selective attitude towards the distribution of information related to the Covid-19 pandemic. So that residents can contribute to preventing the spread of hoax information related to the Covid-19 pandemic, at least for their families and the surrounding environment. The method used is observation and limited socialization in monthly mutual cooperation activities. The results of the activity showed a positive response from residents to understand, select and examine hoax information about Covid-19 and its vaccinations wisely before distributing it and agreeing to implement health protocols. Based on the results of the evaluation, this activity was successfully carried out according to the expected goals and achievements.
