Focus and Scope
The Journal of Communication and Business Studies is a scientific journal in the field of communication studies and related disciplines, published by Universitas Tarakanita, Undergraduate (S1) Communication Studies Program in Jakarta. The Journal of Communication and Business Studies presents original, analytical, and critical contributions to communication studies for academics who are concerned with and interested in the field of communication science.
The scope of this journal includes:
Mass Media and Journalism; this field examines journalistic activities and media production, including print media, radio, television, and the internet.
New Media and Communication Technology; this area focuses on emerging communication studies that continue to develop in line with technological advancements and societal needs, covering digital, virtual, interactive, hypertextual, and networked media.
Public Relations; this field of communication examines Public Relations practices, including internal and external relations within an organization or institution, as well as the formation of public opinion in society.
Political Communication; communication involving political messages, media, and actors related to power, government, and public policy.
Marketing Communication; a field that examines ideas, information, opportunities, and challenges through various symbols to achieve organizational or corporate objectives.
