Pengaruh Tayangan Podcast Deddy Corbuzier Terhadap Kepuasan Penonton Dalam Memperoleh Informasi Program LOGIN

Abstract

Podcasts have developed into one of the digital media that plays an important role in delivering information and entertainment. Its development is getting faster with the presence of various content that can be accessed at any time through platforms such as YouTube. One of the most popular podcast programs is the LOGIN program hosted by Habib Jafar and Onadio Leonardo, which presents discussions with speakers from various backgrounds, especially in discussing diversity in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effect of LOGIN program podcast shows on viewer satisfaction in obtaining information. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Data was collected using a questionnaire distributed to students of Garut University as respondents, using a purposive sampling technique. For data analysis, validity and reliability tests were used, as well as simple regression conducted with the help of IBM SPSS 25. The results showed that the LOGIN program podcast had a significant influence on viewer satisfaction, with a correlation of 0,730 and a contribution of 53.3%. Respondents considered this podcast relevant, informative, and had an interesting delivery with credible and experienced sources. The results of this study support the Uses and gratifications theory, which suggests that viewers actively choose media that satisfy their needs.
