This research analyzes YouTube comment sentiment on KOMPASTV videos about student protests against education budget cuts. Using a mixed methods approach that integrates lexicon-based analysis with qualitative contextual analysis, 254 comments were categorized as positive, negative, or neutral. Results show 44.49% positive comments, 14.96% negative, and 40.55% neutral. WordCloud visualization reveals the dominance of terms "demo," "student," and "education." Contextual analysis found many neutral comments contain implicit support for student activism. This research confirms social media's role as a barometer of public sentiment toward educational policies and student movements in Indonesia.
