Komunikasi Politik Partai Baru di Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Tahun 2019

This research wants to see how the contestation of new political parties in winning the votes of the people in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through deep interviews with the management of new political parties in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. In the 2019 elections there were four new political parties namely the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo), the Garuda Party and the Work Party. Through the approach model of the Acquisition Strategy to Meet the Needs of Marwell and Schmitt it was found that the new political parties did not yet have a big idea in the area in terms of regional development missions, only continuing what was at the Center. Then what needs to be highlighted is that the party's cadre has not been maximized, it is limited to incidental and proximity factors in recruiting members and legislative candidates for the party. New political parties in the regions have not been able to transform the vision and mission of the center in a simple way so that it can be accepted by the people in the region.
