Post-Publication Discussion Policy

Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi dan Bisnis (JIKB) encourages constructive academic discussion of published articles. Post-publication discussion forms part of the journal's commitment to maintaining the quality, relevance, and integrity of scholarly knowledge, particularly in the fields of communication and business.

Readers, researchers, academics, and practitioners may submit scholarly comments, responses, or questions concerning the methods, analyses, interpretations, or implications of findings presented in JIKB articles. All submissions must be relevant to the article under discussion, supported by appropriate reasoning, and expressed objectively and professionally.

Comments and responses may be submitted to the editorial team through JIKB's official contact channels. The editor will assess their relevance, academic substance, clarity of argument, and compliance with publication ethics before determining the appropriate course of action.

Where appropriate, the editor may invite the authors of the article concerned to respond. This opportunity is intended to ensure that academic issues are addressed fairly and in a balanced manner. Authors' responses and readers' comments may be considered for publication if they meet the journal's editorial and ethical standards.

JIKB does not consider comments containing personal attacks, discrimination, hate speech, unsupported allegations, or material unrelated to scholarly discussion.

If a discussion raises concerns about substantive errors, methodological issues affecting the reliability of findings, or potential publication ethics violations, the editor will conduct further evaluation in accordance with the relevant JIKB editorial policies.

This policy aims to facilitate open, responsible, and evidence-based scholarly exchange while safeguarding the integrity of the scholarly publication record.
