Serving the community requires adequate communication skills and etiquette. In order to improve the ability of human resources in Pondok KelapaDistrict, PKK cadres were given some training in Etiquette and Public Speaking. The number of participants in the training was 29 PKK cadres. The activity was carried out for one day at STIKS Tarakanita campus which is situated in Pondok Kelapa District. This training aims to improve the abilities, knowledge and skills of PKK cadres in communicating effectively and have a good attitude in conveying messages. The material presented is how to communicate and look and behave politely. Presentation technique used is the provision of material in the form of lectures and discussions accompanied by simulations or directly display the material that has been presented. Participants were also given the opportunity to practice using cases in PKK activities, either found in Kelurahan, RW, and RT. The overall training results showed that participants understood etiquette and how to communicate well, but still experienced several obstacles in practicing it, including nervousness and lack of confidence. Etiquette and Public Speaking training activities generate new enthusiasm for trainees to provide better service.
