Peer Review Process

The Journal of Communication and Business Studies implements a double-blind review system. Each manuscript submitted to the journal will undergo a review process by at least two reviewers. The review process and stages are as follows:

  • The Editor will assign reviewers for the submitted manuscript by considering the topic of the paper, the reviewers’ areas of expertise, and their publications related to the topic. The Editor will decide on the reviewers no later than one week after the manuscript is received.

  • Reviewers are given two weeks to evaluate the manuscript and decide whether it is: (a) accepted without revision; (b) accepted with revisions; or (c) rejected. Authors will be notified of the manuscript status via email no later than three weeks after submission. If after three weeks the author has not received any notification, the author has the right to contact the Editor to confirm the manuscript status.

  • For manuscripts with the status “accepted with revisions,” there may be several rounds of communication between the author and the reviewers. Authors may be required to make multiple revisions in accordance with the reviewers’ suggestions.
