Kegiatan Literasi Undang-undang No. 17 Tahun 2023 Pada Perawat

Abstract

Nurses and nursing students have not fully understood The latest Health Act even though this law is vital for them. An online community service on this law is a necessary effort to raise an awareness regarding health laws among nurses and nursing students. This literacy activity aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of nurses and nursing students in applying Law No. 17 of 2023, where participants are in the productive age range. Activities are carried out online via Zoom media. The methods used are lectures, discussions, questions and answers sessions, sharing of learning materials to participants, evaluations by the participants, and conducting a post test for the participants. The number of participants was 204 people which was consisting of 33.3% male and 66.67% female participants. The results of the activity showed that 51% of participants had good knowledge, 40.2% had sufficient knowledge, and 8.8% had poor knowledge. Good understanding of the law is expected to help nurses and nursing students understand and implement well their duties and responsibilities as health workers.
