Abstract

Mijen sub-district is a fertile area, has various kinds of festivals and traditional activities as well as agro-tourism destinations for the rice fields. To enliven the event, the partner of the PKK RT 04 RW 01 Tambangan Village wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to become an entrepreneur in making soap products by utilizing the surrounding natural resources. However, the problems faced are that partners do not know the manufacturing procedures and tools used in making soap. In this Community Service Activity, PKK women were given training in the form of technology transfer for making lemongrass bath soap which was attended by 7 members, with activity stages: counseling on soap making technology, packaging techniques, economic analysis training, making soap molds, training in making lemongrass bath soap and product packaging training. Community Service Activities aim to provide new knowledge and skills as a form of empowerment and technology transfer to partners. From the results of the activity, partners responded positively, enthusiastically, and were cooperative in participating in the whole activity. Partners already know the procedures and tools for soap production. Partners feel that they have increased their knowledge and skills after attending the training. So it can be concluded, the objectives and targets of Community Service activities have been met. It is hoped that the knowledge that has been obtained can be used for sustainable entrepreneurship and shared with PKK members who have not attended training.
