Based on several discussion in between KDM and IPMI, several problems were identified regarding self-esteem and self-confidence in the children of KDM. Hence, the materials of this project were believed to be in perfect fit with the problem or KDM’s current needs, which made the deal in between both parties were sealed. The project was in a form of effective communication class with a duration of eight weeks, one meeting each week. During the project execution, data were collected accordingly. The data obtained can show the progress and results or impacts of the project. The data collection process were conducted through observation and discussion, in which every progress made or suggestions given by project participants were documented in the teaching notes. After the project was done, several findings were identified such as the project participants actually have pretty healthy sense of worth, which was reflected by their capability of having a huge aspiration and optimism about their future. This finding were believed by the project executor to be the result of the tremendous care and support that KDM caretakers gave to the children. The project objective to help improve the communication ability of the children which eventually also impact their self-confidence were also successfully achieved, as the project participants acknowledged the progress they made during the project execution.
