Abstract

Community empowerment at YTM is a form of community service to help provide solutions to the problems faced by natural schools managed by YTM. Empowerment activities aim to improve the knowledge and skills of the community at YTM so that the management of natural school libraries can be optimized and better. Library as a window of knowledge and knowledge must be managed professionally. The method for community empowerment activities begins with observation, then do the planning or scheduling and implementation of activities through training and library management assistance. The training provided has a positive impact on YTM trainees and managers. Partners or trainees gain knowledge, knowledge or insights as well as library management skills. The training was attended by people who were in the YTM environment. The trainees participated in a series of activities with great enthusiasm.
