Among families, there are diverse communication patterns, which can be examined through social reality or media representation. This study analyzes family communication patterns through media representation in the film "His Three Daughters" (2024). This research examines the shift in communication patterns from an authoritarian approach (Conformity Orientation) to a more dialogical one (Conversation Orientation). Using Roland Barthes' semiotics, the analysis focuses on the denotation, connotation, and myths in selected scenes to reveal the interactions among three sisters with a complicated relationship. The film tells the story of the sisters reuniting to care for their dying father. The research findings indicate a shift in their communication patterns as they work to repair their fractured relationship, which leads to a consensual family type. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the representation of family communication patterns within the context of sibling relationships, especially in crisis situations.
